Hummus with Jalapeños and Cilantro

I have been experimenting with hummus recipes for awhile and I think I finally landed on a family favorite. This recipe includes jalapeños and cilantro to give it a bit of a kick. My 3-year-old eats this hummus by the spoonful!

2 15oz cans of garbanzo beans (Eden Organic canned foods have BPA free linings)
1 lemon, juiced
1/2 cup of tahini
1 large garlic clove
3 Tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons of sea salt
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 small jalapeño, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup loosely packed cilantro leaves

Drain and rinse the garbanzo beans.  Next add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until creamy. Add small amounts of water and blend until you get the consistency that you like.

*Try and use organic ingredients when possible.
