Tuesday's Tip from Our Junior Blogger: Clean the Chicken Coop

Tuesday's Tip From Our Junior Blogger
Chicken tending tips straight from the mouth of a 5-year-old!

Clean the Chicken Coop
You need to clean the chicken coop because it gets stinky and the chickens might step in their poop.  You should clean it everyday, but if you forget, just clean it the next day.  To clean your coop use gloves and a bag.  Pick up the poop with one of the gloves on your hand and use the other hand with a glove to hold the bag.  Once you finish cleaning the poop put fresh shavings in.  You are done so now you can go play.

Thanks, Little Chicken Tender, but I think cleaning the coop everyday is a bit much.  How about once a week?  And for those of you with a very large coop, it probably involves more than gloves and a bag!

Thank for reading!  Stay tuned for another tip next Tuesday.
