Chick Checklist

This is the chick checklist.  It will help you know what to get for your chicks.  You should have these things:

Brooder Box - For the chicks to stay in until they grow enough to go outside

Chick Food - For the chicks to eat

Feeder - For the chicks to eat out of

Waterer - For the chicks to drink from

Thermometer - To see how many degrees the brooder is

Heat Lamp - It keeps them warm

Pine Shavings - For their bedding

Your chicks will come home in a box.  Your brooder has to be set up before you go get the chicks so that when you get home your chicks won't be scared and peep a lot in the box while they wait for you to set it up.

Have fun getting your chicks!

  1. Great checklist. Even if you've raised chicks before it's always good to be sure you still have everything and that it all still works! Lisa
